Julia & Simon – winter wonterland at Skógafoss & Dyrhólaey

One of the most amazing things I get to do it is shoot my friends and family. I am a loner by heart, but getting to capture my close ones’ love is something that always feels very special. Julia and Simon have been my close friends for years now and they are actually the reason I ended up in Iceland. Being asked to photographer their special moments was an honor and I couldn’t imagine saying no.

We went through quite a lot to get those pictures – weather in Iceland during winter can be really unpredictable and pretty… scary! But, we are all adventurers at heart, so there was no reason to back out. We took all the safety precautions and went on our way to do a photoshoot at Skogafoss and Dyrholæy in the south of Iceland, close to the black sand beach and our lovely town Vik i Myrdal!
